Accessibility Guide

Arrival

The car park is approximately 75 metres from the accommodation via a sloping path.
The car park has an uneven surface.
There are wheelbarrows to take your luggage to and from the accommodation.
If you would like help with your luggage, please ask in advance and we are happy to help you.

Bedding

We have non-allergic bedding available upon request.

Outside

The paths to each accommodation have small stones.
There are wood chips in front of each accommodation.
The surrounding footpaths are grassy and uneven and can get very muddy in winter.

Steps

The Nightingale Hut has two steps up to the front door.
The lapwing has two large steps to access the front door.

Inside

The accommodations are open plan and on one level.
There is one door inside for the bathroom which has a shower, sink and toilet.
We do not currently have Wifi but there is 4G, which may vary depending on your provider.

Vision

Lighting around the site is minimal with solar lighting on the paths and sensor lights in the car park due to us being in the South Downs National Park.
Inside there are LED lights.
We can provide information in large print on request.

Assistance dogs

We welcome dogs in our Lapwing and Skylark pod. We usually charge £10 per night for a dog but please let us know if you are bringing an assistance dog and there will be no charge.
